Renting the Park
The Park Theatre is the place for your next
event. The beautiful, historic theatre, which ran as a single-run movie
theatre for over 60 years, has recently been home to comedy troupes,
bands, theatre productions, weddings, birthday parties, mystery dinners,
and much more. Please call 355-PARK for more information.
RENTAL RATES
Cost Daily:
Weekday (Sunday - Thursday) - $500.00
Weekend
(Friday - Saturday) - $600.00
Wedding Package - $750.00
Marquee Rental:
$50 / 2 days
Spell it out in lights! The Park is now renting out their marquee to
display your special message. Great for birthdays, anniversaries, and
special occasions. For only $50, you'll receive 2 days display time on one
of the busiest corners downtown!
Deposit:
A $300.00 deposit is required with every rental. You
are required to meet with the manager 24 hours after your rental and upon
inspection of the theatre after your event. If everything is as you found
it, the $300.00 deposit will be completely refunded. If not, an
appropriate amount will be deducted.
Rental Features:
- A typical rental is 12 hours and you must be out of the facility by
1:00 a.m., however, special arrangements may be made, depending on the
needs of the next renter.
- Flexible seating, use of all tables (36 in rounds - 10), round drink
tables (#), round bistros (36 inches - 8), and banquets (6 feet - 8).
All tables are equipped with chairs. For only chair seating, the theatre
offers seating for 299, which is the capacity of the theatre (including
performers).
- Use of the stage with stage lights.
- You may choose to have your event displayed on the marquee on the
day of your event.
- The kitchen, concession area, and full service bar.
- You may have a poster hung in the display case on the day of your
event.
House Set-Up:
Upon your arrival, the theatre will be clean,
tables set aside and chairs stacked. The house must be returned to the way
you found it.
Insurance:
For each rental we require insurance. Please
contact the Park for details, and your insurance company to see if your
current policy allows for this. If not, you must obtain a rider on your
policy.
Food and Beverage: Please contact the Park Theatre office at
616-355-PARK for more information regarding food catering and serving
alcoholic beverages.
